Career Information:

Guidance counselors are available to assist students with career decision making and preparation.
Counselors give students the opportunity to review and revise career goals annually. Change in career interests is normal and students should understand this. However, the career decision process does not change. When students understand this process, they equip themselves with a life-skill they will use multiple times over their lifespan.

What are you going to be when you grow up?

That seems like an easy question to answer when you are young, but as you get older, you probably realize that the answer is not as simple as it once seemed. You have a lot of questions to answer and a lot of choices to make.
The Kuder Online Career Portfolio provides a gateway to lifelong career planning that allows individuals to store personal and academic information; search and save educational and occupational data; build résumés; and access assessment progress and results 24 hours a day from any Internet connection.

The SCOIS (South Carolina Occupational Information System) is also available. It allows students to do many useful things to prepare for the future such as compile a portfolio, write a resume, etc.
