North South All-Star Football Queen Scholarship Contest - Eligibility: Senior Female, pick up application in guidance office and return to guidance on or before November 9, 2009.

Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund Scholarship - Eligibility: students who wish to further their education in the natural resources such as wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry or marine science.
Wallace F. Pate Scholarship - Eligibility: Students who wish to further their education int he natural resources such as wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry or marine science.
**Students may apply for both the Harry Hampton and Wallace F. Pate Scholarships together on one application form, but are eligibile to be awarded only one of the two.
The James O. Thomason Scholarship - Eligibility: students who wish to further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations or mass communications.

KFC Colonel's Scholars - Eligibility: Financial need, an entrepreneurial spirit; earn a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.75; enroll in public college or university within South Carolina; plan to pursue a bachelor's degree; be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and demonstrate financial need.
The scholarship is online beginning December 1, 2009 to February 10, 2010 at www.kfcscholars.org.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Foundation Scholarship - Eligibility: high school senior with a minimum gpa of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or a minimum score of ACT 22/SAT (verbal/critical reading and math) 1030 or GPA designated by specific scholarship; planning to attend college in the fall of 2010. Apply for no more than three (3) Scholarships - $5.00 processing fee per application; applications must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2010. SC Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship - Eligibility: Senior; cumulative GPA of 2.75 on 4.0 scale; resident of South Carolina; have a competitive or recreational interest in golf; must plan to attend public or private four-year college or university in South Carolina in Fall 2010.

Kittie Moss Fairey Educational Fund Scholarship - Eligibility: Senior; South Carolina resident; cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; combined SAT of 1800 or a composite ACT of 26; parents must have household adjusted gross income not exceeding $40,000; planning to attend an accredited, four-year college/university in South Carolina Fall 2010. Zonta International Program - Young Women in Public Affairs - Eligbility: Women who are pre-university or pre-college students - demonstrate Evidence of active commitment to volunteerism; evidence of volunteer leadership achievements; evidence of international awareness; evidence of dedication to advancing the status of women worldwide. Applications at the following website:

CHI IOTA IOTA CHAPTER OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY, INC. -General Scholarship - Eligibility: Graduating senior, African-American male, US citizen, South Carolina resident of one of the following counties: Calhoun, Fairfield, Lexington, Newberry, Richland or Saluda. Three letters of recommendations; at least 2 from school officials.
Purple Scholarship - 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale or 4.0 GPA on 5.0 scale verified by official high school transcript. Submit 250 - 350 word typed essay on the topic, "The Importance of a College Education in the African-American Community."
Gold Scholarship - 2.80 - 3.49 cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale or 3.3 to 3.9 GPA on a 5.0 scale verified by copy of official high school transcript. Submit 250 - 350 word typed essay on the topic, "The Importance of a College Education in the African-American Community."
Completed scholarship application is due to the Guidance Office by March 25, 2010.
