Mr. Randall Price, Instructional Coordinator at Batesburg-Leesville High School and a member of the Army Reserves, has been ordered to one year of active duty and will be deployed to either Kuwait or Afghanistan by the end of October.  This will be Mr. Price's second tour of duty overseas having previously served in 2004.  We are extremely proud of Mr. Price and grateful for his service to our country.  Certainly our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and we look forward to his safe return to the high school in November, 2012.

 

Batesburg-Leesville High School has met the requirements established by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement through June 30, 2016. Mrs. Frances Bouknight, Director of Instruction for Lexington Three presented B-L High School principal Pat Padgett with a framed copy of his school’s accreditation certificate at the October 11^th School Board meeting.

 

This achievement recognizes the quality of education afforded the students in Lexington Three through the leadership of the superintendent and governing authority, the dedication and service of the professional staff, and the support of community stakeholders.

 

The Council on Accreditation and School Improvement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools provides international recognition to Lexington County School District Three, the students, and community for its achievement of accreditation as a quality school system.
