Mr. Price is doing well.  He is stationed at an Army base in southern Kuwait.  We would like to congratulate Mr. Price in his promotion from MAJ to LTC in January.  His job in the communications field requires that he work six days per week, so he has very little spare time.  LTC Price has run in six 5K races since at the base.  These races have been held to commemorate holidays and special occasions.  He very much appreciates the support and well-wishes he has received from the B-L community!

 

Batesburg-Leesville High School has met the requirements established by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement through June 30, 2016. Mrs. Frances Bouknight, Director of Instruction for Lexington Three presented B-L High School principal Pat Padgett with a framed copy of his school’s accreditation certificate at the October 11^th School Board meeting.

 

This achievement recognizes the quality of education afforded the students in Lexington Three through the leadership of the superintendent and governing authority, the dedication and service of the professional staff, and the support of community stakeholders.

 

The Council on Accreditation and School Improvement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools provides international recognition to Lexington County School District Three, the students, and community for its achievement of accreditation as a quality school system.
